back in september as a birthday present for my parents i decided to book us in for family portraits. it was a birthday present for me too even though my birthday is in april. ha.
my friends husband is an amazing photographer and we were lucky to have these done. it was a very brisk and foggy morning up at alouette lake. i had pictured the big green mountains and the blue water behind us but it was so foggy you can't see them. however i really like how they turned out with the misty foggyness.
i love every picture and will be so glad to have these precious moments captured. sophia was still four and had just gotten her glasses a few weeks before.
i was proud because i finally felt confident to have pictures taken - even though i get really wiggy in front of the camera and start doing weird things with my face out of awkwardness. since these pictures were taken i have lost another ten pounds.
i hope that in the years to come we will keep getting our family portraits done. it is so worth it.
